The green spaces throughout this townhouse renovation project were designed to combine ecologically diverse and family-friendly outdoor spaces. Materials included new and reused bluestone paving, a Redbud in the rear yard and tranquil shade perennials in the yard, front entry garden and on the bedroom terrace. The front and back ends of the roof are dedicated to extensive native perennial planting. The green roof creates a meadow oasis for the owners and a provides habitat for a parade of pollinators.
